  • What is the timezone in Kenya? The time zone in Kenya is GMT+ 0300hrs
  • What is there to do? Our Country is a land of many contrasts and varieties. We have some of the best beaches in the world as well as Game parks and National Reserves. Our large selection of Entertainment spots keeps everyone entertained, from the youngest in the family to the eldest as well. 
  • Can I book my trip in advance or do I have to wait until I arrive there? One can book their trip before arriving in the country. This comes with many advantages and the most important of them all is having a greater chance of getting confirmations for your reservations as opposed to late booking. Advance booking also allows us to take care of the very minute details of the trip, which can go a long way in ensuring a smooth flow of the journey. 
  • What are the official languages in Kenya? Our Official languages are English and Kiswahili. It is also important to note that most electronic and print media as well as the traffic signs are in English



Money Matters:
  • What is the Local Currency in Kenya? The Kenya Shilling is our local Currency. It is divided into notes and coins. The coins are: KES 1,5,10,20, and 40. The notes are KES 50,100,200,500 and 1000. The major currencies e.g. US Dollar, GB  Pound and the Euro are also accepted in most areas.
  • Are credit cards accepted in Kenya? Yes, major credit cards including the VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. 
  • What are the banking hours there? Most banks in Kenya Open from 0900hrs - 1500hrs Monday - Friday and from 1100hrs - 1200hrs on Saturdays. However, other banks open for longer hours. 
  • Could you please give a guideline on tipping? Tipping is at one's discretion and depending on the level of services provided to you. As a guideline, the porters and waiters can be tipped USD 1.00 -2.00 while the driver guides can be tipped USD 5.00 - 10.00 per person per day.
